“Dottie” was born in Tampa, Florida, moved to Detroit in high school, attended Michigan State, flew as a stewardess for Pennsylvania Central, was a cryptographer during the war, married Capt. Jack Brown in 1944 in Palm Springs. She was a world traveler, golfer, volunteer, bridge player extraordinaire, and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survived by son & wife, Deke & Corrin Brown; daughter & husband, Leslie & Steve Zock; grandson, Ted Zock; granddaughter & husband, Tracy & Bill Johnson; granddaughter, Lisa Brown; and great-granddaughters, Jaxie and Jaizlee Johnson. It was a life well-lived.
