Cheryl Linn Adkinson, 54, peacefully passed away at home with her loving husband, Anthony J. Adkinson, by her side on Sunday, July 22, 2018. Cheryl was born March 6, 1964 to proud parents Dana and Jack Hyatt in Klamath Falls, Oregon. She had two siblings, older brother, Todd, and younger sister, Chantel. After high school she joined the U.S. Navy, and in December 1984 she graduated air traffic controller A school. When she completed her time in the Navy she moved her career to the Department of Defense as a Air Traffic Controller. Her career was one of her proudest accomplishments, highlighted by saving the lives of wrecked fisherman found by radar and landing President Reagan on Air Force One. The only thing she was more proud of was her two beautiful children, Douglas Michael Francis and Kelsey Rae Francis.

She is survived by children, Douglas and Kelsey; husband, Anthony; mom, Dana; sister, Chantel; father, Jack; stepmom, Jeanie; uncle, Joel; aunt, Patsy; and many more family members.
She was preceded in death by grandmother, Maxine; stepdad, Chuck; and brother, Todd.
There will be a celebration of life at 12:00 p.m.,Saturday, July, 28, 2018 at Conger Morris Funeral Home in Central Point, Ore. with a family gathering afterwards.
She was a beautiful mother, wife, and friend and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She is in God’s hands resting until we all meet again.
