Ridgecrest, Calif. — Ridgecrest resident Susan “Stacye” Cameron passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010, while visiting in Medford, Ore. She was 47.
It didn’t matter if you knew her by Susan or Stacye, she was a kind-hearted daughter, a devoted mother, not only to her kids, but kids of all families, and a caring and trusted friend. She will always be missed and loved, but never forgotten.
Susan was born Jan. 25, 1963, in Bakersfield. She had lived in Ridgecrest, off and on, for about 25 years. She was a homemaker and liked to cook. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. When she could, she enjoyed walking on the beach.
She is survived by three sons, Louis Gattone II of Indianapolis, Ind.; Rory Alejandro of Ridgecrest; and Albert VanLuven of Ridgecrest; and seven grandchildren, Louis Gattone III, Jasmine Alejandro, Rory Alejandro Jr., Shayla, Conner, and Alex VanLuven.
