William “Bill” Weber, 64, passed away suddenly June 6, 2018 in Randsburg, California.
Bill was born October 26, 1953 in McMinnville, Oregon. His family moved to the Rogue Valley, where he graduated from Phoenix High School and went on to join the U.S. Navy in 1972. Bill became a Navy SEAL with Teams 1 and 5, and was an original member of SEAL Team 6. Bill retired a highly-decorated, multi-war veteran, after 30 years of service. Even after retirement, he continued to train and consult with the U.S. military until his last day.
Growing up, Bill enjoyed stock car racing at his local track, which turned into a full-fledged love of desert racing, with nine Baja 1000 wins under his belt.
Bill is survived by his two children, son, TJ Weber (wife, Charity and three granddaughters, Abigail, Aunika, and Alena) and daughter, Tami Lowe (husband, Justen and grandson, Trapper); brother, Steve (wife, Judy); and many other family and friends who loved and cared for him deeply. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy; father, Jack; and brother, Bob.
The funeral service will be held June 25, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Conger-Morris.
