Obituary for Marjorie Eloise Daley

Marjorie Eloise Daley, 86, passed away August 3, 2017 in Medford, Oregon. She was born November 3, 1930 in Turlock, California to Albert and Hildur (Erickson) Olson.
Marjorie grew up in Turlock, Calif. She graduated from Turlock High School in 1948. After high school, she attended the French Hospital School of Nursing in San Francisco, Calif., where she became a Registered Nurse.
As a nurse she worked at many different hospitals, including locations in San Jose, Santa Cruz, and Gold Beach, before settling in for a longer period at Providence Hospital in Medford, Ore.
Marjorie attended Applegate Christian Fellowship for many years. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, reading, listening to music (oh, how she loved music, something was always playing in the background), and visiting with friends, grandkids, and any relative who stopped over for the night. Her place was affectionately known as "Marj's B & B."
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Hildur and Albert Olson; her brothers, Wendel, Oakley, James, and Walter; and her sisters, Amanda, Lillian, Helen, Lauretta, and Lorrayne. Her former spouse and father of her three children, Dennis Daley also preceded her in death.
Marjorie is survived by her sons, Michael (Pam) Daley of Medford, Ore., Kirk (Debra) Daley of Jacksonville, Ore.; and her daughter, Karan (Peter) Bedell of Trail, Ore.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as her sister, Marlene Jerner of Turlock, Calif.
A memorial service will be held at Applegate Christian Fellowship Church in Ruch at 3:00 p.m. August 13, 2017. Funeral arrangements by Conger-Morris Funeral Directors, Medford (541)772-7111.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Salvation Army, 304 Beatty St., Medford, OR 97501.
